My entire life I always knew that I wanted to be a mom. After graduating from college, where I completed my Masters in Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology and my Bachelors in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, I immediately began pursuing my career in the fitness industry as a personal trainer. I absolutely loved every minute of my job and began exploring how I could grow this passion. I quickly worked my way up into a management role, which I surprising loved, and devoted all of my waking time to creating the most desirable gym and most sought after fitness programs. Four years into my professional endeavor I embarked on the journey of becoming a mother. I had a fantastic pregnancy, beyond the typical swollen ankles and unthinkable tiredness, I continued to plan my future as a full time working mom. After my sweet little girl arrived, I quickly realized that balancing work, home and motherhood left no time to focus on mom. Creating a workout routine and a healthy eating plan quickly fell to the bottom of my priority list and was very rarely completed. I soon realized that I had to start prioritizing my life. As much as I loved my job and the incredible team that I worked with each and every day, I had to make time for me which in the end meant that I had more time for my family. I quickly learned that a healthy happy mom, and wife, is a key component to a happy family.

I am now sharing my education, experience and knowledge with other families to help inspire them and show that you can do it all. Taking care of yourself is essential, not only for you but also for your children. Showing your child the importance of exercise and movement is not only pivotal to their development, but it is something that is so easily overlooked when our lives get too busy. If your house is anything like our house my husband is walking in the door while I am running out the door, which leaves very little family time.

SLIM Fitness was created to show families that living a healthy active lifestyle is achievable. Starting something new can always seem overwhelming and we can come up with every excuse in the book, but when we sit down and ask ourselves what we really want, it typically involves losing weight, feeling better about ourselves, de-stress and get healthy. Let SLIM Fitness help! At SLIM Fitness we are here to help make fitness more convenient and fun while allowing families to spend quality time together. At the SLIM Fitness studio we have a family friendly environment where children are always welcome. There is a play corner on the studio floor where the kids can be in their own element or the kids can join you in your workout and learn with mom and dad. No babysitter, no problem! Free free to bring grandma, grandpa, auntie and uncle too. We are here to support you and the entire family and to help you all achieve health!
